VitalNote Terms of Use

Effective date: June 11, 2026

Agreement
By downloading, installing, or using VitalNote, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

License Grant
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use VitalNote for nursing education and study purposes in accordance with these Terms.

Permitted Use

  • Use VitalNote for nursing school coursework, NCLEX preparation, and self-directed learning.
  • Use reference calculators and study scenarios to reinforce classroom concepts.

Prohibited Use

  • Do not use VitalNote as a substitute for institutional protocols, prescriber orders, formal clinical training, or licensed professional judgment.
  • Do not use VitalNote to create, store, or transmit real patient health records.
  • Do not reverse engineer, scrape, redistribute, or commercially resell App content without written permission.
  • Do not represent VitalNote as an approved medical device, EHR, diagnostic system, or telehealth service.

Educational Content — No Medical Advice

  • VitalNote provides educational reference material only. It does not create a provider-patient relationship.
  • Drug doses, clinical thresholds, and care pathways are for learning and may differ from your facility's approved policies. Always verify independently in real clinical practice.

Intellectual Property

  • App design, code, and original content are owned by Abdulrazaq Alonazi unless otherwise noted.
  • Nursing and medical knowledge derived from public guidelines is cited in tool references. VitalNote does not claim ownership of established medical science.

Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY CLINICAL OUTCOMES, ERRORS, OR OMISSIONS ARISING FROM USE OF THE APP. SEE THE MEDICAL DISCLAIMER FOR ADDITIONAL TERMS.

Auto-Renewable Subscriptions (VitalNote Pro)

  • VitalNote Pro is offered as auto-renewable monthly and yearly subscriptions through Apple's In-App Purchase system.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the price shown at purchase.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions after purchase.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial or promotional period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's policies.

Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these Terms or applicable law.

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law in the developer's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
